Monday
well, since last week...
kassidy is pretty much potty trained during the day. we're having issues with b.m.'s, but the pee-peeing is going great. only 3 accidents in a week. she wore panties to church yesterday and did fine. she wouldn't go with the people who had nursery, so they had to come get me, but she was fine during s.s. she didn't know the people who had nursery that well. but i'm really proud of her and her hard work. i took her to the doctor on wednesday for bad cough, but it's allergies. they put her on a new medicine and it's really helping. when it's getting close to time for another dose, you can tell b/c she starts coughing more. but......
i wasn't feeling well this weekend. michael took me on a date friday night. kinda for mother's day and kinda just b/c we needed the time together w/o the doodle. we went to red lobster and got h'orduerves and desert! yummy! i didn't even eat too much! i'd been saving room all day! but, by the time i got home my stomach was cramping. i ended up spending most of the night in the bathroom. the next day, i was exhausted from lack of sleep and still not feeling great. i spent the majority of the day on the couch. michael took kassidy to a ball game for a couple of hours, which let me sleep. it was nice.
sunday, we overslept. we picked up a rose for kassidy's sunday school teachers. one doesn't have any children, but she's great with kids. i'm not sure she ever married. but, she helps me mother kassidy, so...we also got one for the youth's sunday school teacher. she's a youth mom. anyways, it was nice. we ate at el camino's for lunch with the youth teacher's family. it was good. i ate lightly though. kassidy loves mexican cuisine. she's so like her daddy! we then went to mike and phyllis' until kassidy was ready for a nap. they had been saving change for her, like us. and they were getting full, so we took that gal. of change. i counted ours today and we had about $100 in change and that in bills, too. kassidy had fun playing with it. it's going in her, "getting started fund." we started out with a college fund, but we decided that she may not go to college ( i think she will) but if she doesn't , she have it to start her life with. for a house, a reliable car, what have you. maybe she'll go to beauty school. who knows. but, i'm glad we're able to go ahead, even in small increments, with her savings.
well, i've got to clean some toilets. i'm watching 4 boys from church this afternoon and won't have time to clean later. have a stupendous day!!!
lots of love.......
