sorry. so sorry.

i'm failing miserably with this blog thing. i'm sorry for not doing it. my dog and my doodle can't be with me when i do it and that doesn't leave a whole lot of time for me to sit and write. however, friday i'll have someone watching kassidy for me and i'm tackling this room. no more boxes and what not! woo-hoo. it's funny, i often forget we even have this room. i'm never in here.
well christmas went well. i'm glad we survived. we did have some drama and then some real drama. i won't go into details, but you can pray for one of our youth, Meagan, and all involved.
ummmmmm, i'm not really sure what else to write. i started weight watchers today. i've committed myself to one year, but really to life. i'm tired of all of it. i want kassidy to have a healthy self-image, eating habits, etc. and i've got to be the one to teach them to her. she's still young enough for it all to change for her w/o effort on her part. although i wish you could experience her texture issues. she loves yogurt, but today she got a piece of strawberry she didn't like. the only thing was she was swallowing it when she realized it. she started to gag and gag and cough and gag. we were reassuring her it was only fruit and she was okay. when she stopped gagging she looked at us with tears in her eyes and said, "puit" while she proceeded to put her finger down her throat and nod. michael and i just laughed. she is so funny and so daggone smart. i'm not sure where she gets it all from. i mean i know i'm cute, but.......
well, my fingers are cold and my husband is waiting to watch a movie with me. love yas!
