hola
Lots of things have been going on. Our computer is in another room now, so I'm finding that I never get on it. Partly because that room isn't put together and Doodle gets into everything while I try to write. Michael's 2 week fall break was over yesterday. I'm glad to get back to my own schedule. But I do miss him. Kassidy misses him so much. She talks about him all the time. She's talking so much now and never misses anything. This morning she wanted cookies for breakfast b/c she saw them sitting on the table. She has a one track mind and continued asking for them until nap time when i convinced her that she could have one with her lunch when she got up from her nap. We have hit the newly named "tolerable two's" -- Michael thought that would be better and give a more up-beat approach. If this is a taste of adolescent years, whoa nelly! I'm on my knees in prayer already and I'm so thankful for God's help and grace! Anywho, we're busy finalizing plans for a disciple now weekend coming up at church. that's crazy. i'm going to my doula training workshop the first weekend in nov. and can't wait!!!! i know i'll feel more confident after that. i have a new friend and i'm so thankful for her. she's from georgia and has no family around and few friends. well, we hit it off. she's a stay-at-home mommy as well with an almost two year old, Jack. adorable. he a doodle are very fond of one another and hold hands all the time. they watch out for each other. it's very sweet. we keep telling kassidy that he can kiss her hand, but that's it! no bad habbits! she's an answer to prayer for me. she keeps me going by making plans for all kinds of things. i'm very thankful for a good friend right here. jeanne goes to our church, by the way, that's how we met. okay, what else? the house is coming along. so many little things to buy here and there! ugh! oh, we also bought a mini-van. very nice. i'm loving it! okay, i've got to go put doodle back into her bed for her nap. i loveyou all and hope things are going well for you.
with my deepest love,
abbi

abbi, sounds like everything is falling into place. i wish we could hang out more, but the commute is a little much. what exactly does a douila do? is that like for people who dont want to have their children in a hospital? (sounds like me, youll definaltely be mine if and when...)
Yeah! Happiness. Glad to hear even the craziness is going well. We can't wait to come see your new house and visit in person!
