Wee-Walker D-Day!!

you know, i get bored easily, but really we should have more color choices to write in, ya know?

so, friday. . . didn't do much. spent the day working on getting ready for our nursery (Wee-Walkers). michael brought home pizza for dinner. thin crust veggie add banana peppers from papa john's mmmmm. then after dinner and when kassidy woke up from her late nap, we went driving. we found a subdivision on the other side of bardstown that we didn't know existed. it was nice. lots of kids out playing in their yards. quiet. only one house for sale, though. and it was by the owner. which means that it's probably out of our price range. but, we've kept trying the number, but no one's been home whenever we call. we'll see. went to walmart. love it. i like the new one in bardstown, b/c it's huge, but i haven't figured out where everything is yet, so i end up going in circles b/c i've missed something. i'll get used to it. plus, a lowe's is going in across the street. when i get bored and familiar with wally, then i can meet lowe.

saturday i woke up w/a migraine. . . actually went to sleep with it and it carried over. took several excedrin and michael took care of kassidy and i slept it off. he was pretty tired and resented the early awakening, but took care of it once he realized why i was asking. he's such a good dad. i read these articles in magazines about good fathers and i just think, yeah, that's my man, too. later, we went out to his parents' for lunch and such. michael played b-ball and washed some cars. phyllis, kassie and i went and visited her aunts. kassidy had lots of fun finding breakable things to play with and watching mommy trying to keep up.

today, i went to church. set up for the nursery, then stayed there b/c the helper was in florida. (i knew that going in) i had a good time, but realized that it would benefit kassidy if i weren't there. it was hard for me to not pay more attention to her and make her say please and everything i know she can do. i want to constantly challenge her. it might be good to be wih other kids and not have me hovering and keeping on her. plus, it was just hard. i have fill-ins, but, not for today. we had a good turn out- 4 babies. i thought that kassidy would be the only one, so 4 is good. i also got to get to know robyn. she was pretty cool. her and her husband are expecting their first child. she has a 5yr. old boy, so she wants a girl and just thought kassidy was the cutest. her hubby and son want a boy. we'll see. this is a honeymoon baby which i think is cute. they've been together awhile. i hope it all goes well. i can't imagine. . . got to nap this afternoon, very much needed. kassidy had a tummy ache last night and didn't sleep too well. lots of gas plus teething didn't help. then michael had an informal get to know you interview with a church in bardstown. it went well, i couldn't go b/c of doodle sleeping. he's very positive, so we'll just wait for god to open or shut the door. it would be interim b/c of michael not being interested in going full-time for now. they assured him it wouldn't be full-time for several years. and they could hire another part-timer when it was needed. it seems to be a good fit. we'll see. went and ate dinner with tim(aka korean) his wife and children are going to her hometown for the week and he didn't have anyone to go home to, so we ate. as we were talking, he made me aware that kassidy is saying her first sentances!!! that's exciting. she's been saying them for a little while, i'm not sure when she started, but she'll come in a room just to say, "hey, mommy." raise her little hand and then wald away. very cute. she's so big! she signed her first sentance a long time ago. it was "please" "more" "cracker" i guess speaking it wasn't too much of a change, but really it it. it shows how fast she's learning and how advanced she is. she just baffles me. she was so social this morning. trying to care for the others around her by giving them crackers or sharing a toy. of course there were the little scuffles, but overall, she's such a caring person. what a heart. i like to think she gets it from michael and i, but really it's from god. only he can create something so beautiful.

anywho, i guess i'll go. no revelations, or special events. just my life. love each of you. and i'm glad that kati is back!! now i won't be bummed when i check her site and nothing new. yeah!!!
