The diaper days!

Yeah, so sorry for the delay. like i said monday, i babysat several days this week, but on top of that kassidy got the stomach bug full blown. michael as well. one night i didn't get to sleep until 5:30am. that's pretty late for this 11:00pm. girl. michael, i think is heading out of it. he only threw up once today. the sad part for him was that he still had to endure class from 8 to 5 all week. he had a presentation today and he said his fever broke as he was getting up, so of course he looked like he was sweating from anxiety. poor guy. i haven't been the best nurse this time either. normally i cope pretty well, but with kassidy being sick and not sleeping, i was completely drained. poor girl. she just wants me to hold her all day. i tried my best while watching two other boys. she's never really had a fever before, so her 102.5 was pretty scary for me. she's so pitiful. but a trooper. she's gotten down me asking for a diaper. she goes and gets it and occassionally will lay down and wait for me to change her (this being at least once per hour). what a smart angel! i have to admit it's sweet for me to get to just love on her and hold her so much. she' s so independent, that i rarely get to love on her when i want to. everything is on her terms. (as it should be since i would smoother her, i'm sure.) so, not much else has gone on in my life. just taking care of my sick. i'm very thankful that i don't have it as well. god's timing is perfect, even if i get it later.

OH, YEAH!!! michael got the teaching job in bardstown - the one we wanted all along. the next day a church in bardstown called and wanted to set up an interview. we aren't sure about a church job on the side, but we are committed to not shutting the door ourselves. he'll sign the contract on monday and meet the superintedent. then it's really official. plus, he has to go to new teacher orientation (for first-year teachers or those new to the system) and a bonus is he'll get paid extra. he's really excited. also, b/c he's half way finished with these summer immersion classes as of today. he's gotten a's in both so far. i'm really proud of him. teaching has really boosted his self-confidence and organization. he used to have me write or check things all the time. he never does anymore. and he just doesn't think to b/c he's sure of himself. it's a great thing to watch.

you know what i love? the movie hitch. i had $20 to spend on myself and i went and bought it whatever night it was that it came out-monday i think? it makes me laugh everytime!

write atcha later.
