????
Well the interview went well. I'm waiting to get a call to set up a peer interview(me with two other aides on the floor-only). They said this helps with people going through orientation and getting on the floor and deciding, "This is not what I was expecting!" and quitting. I loved the floor! So bright and colorful. The nurse manager was so nice and friendly and so someone I would want to work for. The position she's offering me is only 24 hours per week, 3 shifts of 6:30 to 2:30pm, alternating weekends. However, I only need 20 hours to qualify for insurance and that alone will help tremendously with our monthly budget. I won't be making as much as I had hoped to start, but it's a big company and I should get a raise soon after. I've never had a problem with that part before, I don't anticipate a problem now. (so not trying to sound arrogant, really.) I'm not looking forward to getting up at like 4 am to get there at that time, but so thinking that getting off at 2:30pm will be lovely! The floor is half peds and half spill over most of the time. The children fluctuate so much that we get all the overflow. Which I'm a little hesitant about, but think I'll learn a lot. I'll be sure to post when the peer interview is and follow-up. I really am excited at just being there. I know another nurse who works there and she has been so helpful! She told me the nurse manager would be a great person to work for. That's always good coming from an inside source. She doesn't work with her, but knows her well. I just keep thanking God for the hope of it all.
Rejoice in the Lord always and again......REJOICE! It's like He knew we would say, "But, Go-o-od..." and he told us again!
Love yous!!!!!
